Good hotel very near to the center of the city. Room is big enough and clean. In the room there is a coffee machine, that is very comfortable. In period when we were in the hotel, there were even some added services for the guests like a card of Locarno, that gives discounts for the museums and public transport. When we were doing check-out, we received the discount for the hotel of the chain and even the small tasty gift for the Christmas! So, the service of the hotel for me is on the high level.

From the warm greeting upon arrival, we knew were in a great hotel. We requested a view of the park and got it. The room was spacious and had a nice little terrace. The room had a Nespresso maker, and an ample supply of coffee pods, teas, etc and we got two complimentary bottles of water per day. While the bathroom wasn't huge, the shower was great. Perfect location, between the Embarcadero and the Piazza Grande. Only a ten-minute walk to the train station. Decor was stylish. The best part? Every time we needed some extra help from the reception desk, the very-well trained staff gave it gladly.

The hotel has a great location. Rooms are comfortable and everything is very VERY clean! Wc and shower all new and super clean and the size is good enough. Tv is big, internet connection is very fast. Breakfast is fantastic, different options and tasty bread and good coffee.

Simple, no frills hotel in a convenient location in the city centre. Walking distance to the main station and restaurants. They own two restaurants as well, for which you get a small discount. The room was SUPER clean. Big compliments to the housekeeper, we would hire her to clean our house!

Lovely coming back to Hotel City Locarno after a few years. Nicely located hotel, with friendly staff and wonderful restaurant Per Bacco attached to the same building. A short but sweet overnight stay.

Great location. Close to lake waterfront and the old town. Offered a discount at the adjacent restaurant and made reservations for us. The restaurant was packed but we had a nice table by the window.

Central location, clean comfortable hotel. Own underground parking. Friendly and professional staff. Good breakfast. They do not have their own restaurant, but give 10% discount in the Italian restaurant on the ground floor at the same building - very good solution.

The staff was very welcoming, the breakfast was decent. There was a small Panetone as a welcome gift in the room when I arrived, and they gave me 2 bottles of local christmas beer as a goodbye gift, which I really wasn't expecting!

The location of the hotel is perfect - only 400m from the train station. Rooms are nice and clean - nothing fancy but functional. I appreciated the small gift in the room (a tiny Panettone). Breakfast is "only" continental yet with a broad choice incl. fresh fruit salad (boiled eggs available on request), and there are four large Nespresso machines which even make (very enjoyable) Cappuccino!
